Scopes
Following the long tradition that started in 1987, the International Workshop on Positron Studies of Defects 2024 (PSD-24) will be held in Como, Italy, in the period from September the 1st to 6th, 2024.
The aims of this workshop are to bring together scientists who are interested in studying mainly defects in materials for various applications and to provide an international platform presenting and discussing recent results and achievements
as well as on new experimental and theoretical methods in this field. On this occasion scientists will be invited to participate in a half-day conference on other positron adjacent topics applied to Biology and fundamental Physics.
Additionally, a pre-workshop school on positrons to study defects in Material Science will be offered for PhD, Master students and newcomers in the field at the Brunate Library (close to Como).
The Workshop Organizers cordially invite you to join the PSD-24 Workshop and to present your research (call for abstracts).
